Replacement Knobs For Magnalite Pots

TROPIC

August 4, 2010
This morning we leave early because we have 260 km. to go and before you come to Torrey, our final destination, we want to visit the National Park Canyolands, a huge expanse of rock carved by the weather and crossed by two impressive canyons flowing Colorado and Green River. The park is divided into three sections and we visit the most accessible Island in the Sky, following a scenic route and stopping at various view points that allow us to see from the extremely wild territory that lies beneath us, with its pinnacles and rock formations reminiscent of medieval castles.

, we all remember with emotion ...

then allocate at a time of Torrey: Giusi to show leadership and I, map in hand, I have to navigate.

cross boundless lands, without any sign of human life, between desert landscapes that change continuously, until we arrive at the green oasis of Fruita, on the banks of the Fremont River, where there is a community of Mormons.

Here we pause to observe some Indian petroglyphs on the cliffs, dating back a thousand years ago.

We are now close to Torrey, we arrive in a few minutes and where to stay in the beautiful Capitol Reef Inn & Cafe, where rooms are tastefully decorated in Indian style are really nice and welcoming.
